Background Overview

Since inception in July 2021, ALUPA EARTHMOVING SOLUTIONS LIMITED established itself as a PNG based locally owned company. The company slowly emerge due to input of collective efforts by the owners who are the SML landowners of the new Porgera Mine. Prior to new framework agreement between Barrick Niugini Limited, National government, and the landowners, we quietly suggested to consider establishing ALUPA Earthmoving Solutions Limited.

With the renewed framework agreement, we view the reopening of the new Porgera mine as a beginning of a new chapter. Meanwhile, we are not just a company of profit-oriented business, rather we can tackle social, cultural, environmental, and ethical issues that surrounds the local community in which we operate. We are currently located in Paiam Town, Porgera District of Enga Province.
